We have been having heavy frosts the past couple of nights, so on Sunday I covered my clematis very well w/ sheets because these plants were just planted a couple of weeks ago.I had to leave them covered or I'd be late to work and when I got home and checked on them, somehow something got in there and ripped my multi- blue completely out of the ground!!! It also bit or chopped the top of my Celtic Skies off, and left it lay on the ground.(these plants were already about a foot tall.) I have never had this problem before, and hopefully when I get home tonight my other three will still be there. Does anyone have an idea as to what could have done this? I am so sick about it
