Hi All! I went to the Root Glen this weekend on Hamilton College's campus. It's beautiful! I think it's the best kept secret in that area (Clinton, NY) and it's free. Beautiful plants and trees, well maintained paths. It's worth the trip. I caught the end of the peonies in bloom. Hamilton College's website for it doesn't do it justice.

I went there with the Master Gardener's of Oneida Co. a year or so ago. I agree, it's quite beautiful and well worth a visit.

I love Root Glen - but don't get there too often. Went in the early spring and walked on the back trails. Was delighted to find squirrel corn and spring beauty. - kim
