Six new flower beds!

Hi all, especially to you Binghamton Plant Swap ladies --

Figured I would post a pic of what my husband and I have been working for the past week or so -- six new rock-lined flower beds. Here's a link to a photo of the beds, as well as a photo of some more of the rocks we've found on the property that'll be used for another five or six beds! To give you a sense of scale, most of the beds are 8 or 10 feet long by four or five feet wide...

So to all you kind women who swapped plants with me -- your babies are now happily planted in the straight compost I got trucked in and filled the beds with!

Oooh, STONE! Covet, covet, covet. I think you figured out that I like to use stone in landscaping too. You are so blessed to have all that land to spread out on.

Your new plants ought to be VERY happy planted in the amazing compost. I still think you could make a killing at a plant swap by trading bags of that compost for new plants!

I am also jealous of your access to that beautiful stone, and I am very impressed with all the hard work you've put in! We may just have to force you to host next year's swap just so that we can all get a closer look (and maybe get a little of that compost too...)
