Seed pods

I've got some plants that seem to be developing seeds, berries, or pods for the first time. I'm not sure how normal this is.

* My jack-in-the-pulpit is currently sporting a ball of bright green berries.

* My trumpet vine is developing seed pods that are a bit longer than a pea pod.

* My baptista (false indigo) is developing some seed pods that are two inches long.

* My trillium is sporting some sort of red seed pods.

It's the first year any of these have done this. Has anyone else had a banner year for seed development?

Also, if I leave them alone, will the trillium seeds disperse on their own, or am I better off trying to remove the seeds and starting them?
