Thanks to whoever brought the cerise asters to the swap. They are breath-taking. I want it to spread everywhere!!!
Meanwhile my own sad little asters got powdery mildew so bad that they forgot to bloom. I think my bed under my neighbor's pine and fir treees has become too acid for anything to thrive. Must take a sample to the cooperative extension for analysis. I'm thinking transplant it all to raised beds. Groan!
