rotating tomato crop

Every year I seem to battle Fusarium or Verticillium wilt with my tomatoes. I've tried growing tomatoes in containers (not deep enough either, I think), using fresh soil to no avail. This year I am going to try raised bed for my tomatoes-- a good foot deep. In my garden design, should I account for a crop rotation? Do most folks who grow their tomatoes in raised beds rotate their crop to another bed each year to cut down on diseases?

Thanks for your help!
