Anybody know of a source for real, used oak half whiskey barrels? They used to be everywhere, and now the only ones available are either smaller ones manufactured as planters (and made of wood which is destined to decay within a year or two) or the fiberglass replicas. These have their uses, but they don't "breathe" as do the wooden barrels, so some things just don't do well in them. For size, durability, and drainage reasons I need to find the real deal. I'm in the Tidewater area, but willing to drive an hour or so if necessary, and I have a pickup truck (it's 17 years old, so whether it's willing to drive an hour is questionable...)
