Have you been dosing with either the milk-water solution or the baking soda solution? I usually use baking soda, but this year I've just been including the monarda and veronica when I douse the roses with milky-water. So far (and where's a piece of wood to knock on?), no mildew or blackspot on anything. Still early days, but we've sure been having the mists, fogs, and high humidity which normally brings out all the nasties.

It sure has been humid lately! I saw a faint white cast on my hostas a while back and sprayed all the mildew-prone plants once or twice already. I mix milk, water, AND baking soda, along with a sticking agent such as a little dishsoap or garlic oil (might as well zap some aphids at the same time). Since my last spraying, everything is maintaining well -- shiny and green here....after tonight's rain, I'll probably be out spraying this weekend.
