I am looking for recommendations of strawberries that do well in my area and have great flavor. I have strawberries in right now (and unfortunately, I don't remember the variety off the top of my head at the moment... I know I have it written down somewhere), but next season, it will be time to start a new bed and replace those plants. I am interested in trying a different variety (or two) as the strawberries I have now are a little too tart for my preference.

I live in Louisa County, VA, and I have heavy red clay soil (which I am working on amending, but it is a slow and steady process). What strawberries are other central VA gardeners growing and loving?
