I grow my tomatoes in EarthBoxes and the last 2 years I prunned my plants and had no BER (added their fertilizer and dolomite). This year to increase fruit yield I decided not no prune and the plants grew like gangbusters but I am getting BER. I am wondering if the plant spent too much energy and minerals to grow and dedicated little to the fruits.... Any thoughts or comments? I am now adding weekly calcium nitrate to the water reservoir with the hope of decreasing BER in the new fruit.
