why bother posting here at all if it's only to try to build more traffic for yer favorite place Kelly? your fixation on GW's "theft" of your precious postings is rather unbecoming

pccrozat - my experience is in a closed system where the worms can't go deeper, if things freeze hard enough long enough the worms themselves will be dead, but they always leave cocoons behind to hatch new worms when conditions improve - there won't be any temperature conditions that'll leave worms alive but "sterilize" them

at the same time, -5 as an overnight temp won't kill them if the bin is near the building wall, and I'd expect it could stay -5 for a number of days without killing them against the wall

In Dan's email address, substitute thegardenforums.org for (the web address in the last sentence). In other words, his email address is Dan "at" thegardenforums "dot" net.

Don't forget "In the email, you MUST include a username from 3 to 20 characters long, a password from 6 to 30 characters long and the email address you wish to associate with the account. In addition, you must explain briefly why you wish to join TGF. This is essential or your request will be ignored."
