Hi. No one is jumping on this, so I'll give it a shot. I looked up the insecticide you used and the active ingedient appears to be bifenthrin, a synthetic pyrethroid.

I did a quick internet search for "bifenthrin earthworm toxicity" and it appears to have low toxicity to worms. However, I noticed that synthetic pyrethroids show high toxicity to aquatic organisms. I assume that this means you should be very careful when applying them where they might run off into local waterways (and I'd guess it mentions this on the label). Bifenthrin appears to have a relatively long half-life in soil, which means it might take months to break down in vermicompost. All in all, I'd guess that your worms will survive.

As a general rule (and I'm not a fanatic or anything) I try to discourage my friends/family, especially those with children, from applying pesticides inside their homes. Personally, I try to deal with insect infestations by spot spraying outside where they might be entering the house, plugging entrances with caulk or some other physical barrier, and definitely removing anything that might be attracting them inside, like spilled food. I've also had some luck with those sticky traps. I've also used a homemade boric acid bait on ants indoors - boric acid is relatively less toxic to humans than most commercial synthetic insecticides. Just some ideas.
