I think it may be worth a try, but I would drain off the syrup and maybe let them sit and dry for a while before adding them. Otherwise, they may be too wet for the worm bin.

Oh, gosh! Please do not waste all the sugar in that syrup. They love carbs.

Soak cardboard or paper in the syrup and serve the feast.

Hi all, I know what you mean charkita, but my worms are outsisde and they tend to dry out and I actually mist the top from time to time.
Doc I would have poured that sugar in a compost pile before dumping it in the trash. Compost loves sugar and beer to get the bacteria very active.
I decided to put them into a blender with a few rotten strawberries, once blended it was very much liqified so Ihappen to have some chick starter which is mostly corn, so I put in two cups of that and it looked great. I decided to wait unitl morning to feed the worms and it had started to ferment from all that sugar, but it was early so I sent to spoon it out as it was too thick to pour. I think it has been two days later and they have eaten almost all of it. Today I blened some old pumkin and coffee grounds and a little water and poured that into the bins. I am on my second blender. I broke the first one and a friend gave me an old one that had a crack in the jar part of it. I really need a food processer.
The idea to soak card baord or paper in sugar syroup sounds great, if only I had a few more old jars of peaches. Bill C
