When worms are happy meaning having the right Temp, bedding and enough food they multiply fast. Also I use a plastic container no holes and no lid just a florecent light above them all the time.The light keeps them in place. I have Red worms and European Night Crawlers.

they are white and pretty small. why? could it be something else?

brez13..Those do not sound like baby worms. It sounds more like you have pot worms. Check out the link below and see if this is what you are seeing. The wet bin may have caused the bin to become acidic and pot worms like that. Pot worms are not bad but do tell about what is going on in your bin. 15 worms would barely eat anything noticeably and in 5 months in the best of conditions would only be doubled in biomass (maybe 30-50 worms). I would stop feeding this bin and observe it only for a while.

I second that advice! Definately too much acid and moisture. Even if they were reds (they are not) you still have the same problems as they should be having a good time down in the bed not up on the wall.
