Hi folks, just wanted to say Hi. Been lurking for a bit and wanted to tell you that I introduced my very 1st "bunch" of worms to their new home last night. :) A co-worker has been rasing worms and I've been doing a lot of reading and have decided to give it a go. So, I set up my bin a week ago, layered in some bedding, some kitchen "stuff" and more wet bedding and let it percolate. Last night I added some worms and they are off to the races.

Anyway, just wanted to say "Hi".

Totally kooool! I keep waiting for someone on this forum to install a video cam on their herd and let us watch them online. My herd is in an outdoor pit ... and I check them every morning just to make sure everything is OK [obsesive?]

Re: the worm pyramid ... I've given away two batches of worms and both folks are as jazzed as Joe is. Passing it along is among the many pleasure derived from organic gardening and worm ranching.
