So there I was, in all my newbie naivete, and the workshop went perfectly fine! Thanks completely to y'all here. Kelly S., your handouts were great and the bin making went really well. Thanks for your assurance that my enthusiasm would make it a success.

I had two official participants and one observer who was considering vermicomposting in the future. I also have three other who became interested after the RSVP date or upon seeing, yesterday, what a cool, self-contained system the bins are.

We ended up making smaller holes (1/4") because the 1/2" drill bit was too dull to go through the plastic. But we put lots of holes to insure good aeration, so I think it'll be ok.
