I bought worms from Uncle Jims and also Northeast recycling. I thought they were both excellant.

I've gotten mine from Redwormcomposting.com and thewormdude.com (with my worm inn). Very happy with both.

While I haven't had any business with Uncle Jim's, from what I've seen in different forums, many people are not happy. I can link in any number of threads where he is discussed (it's mostly due to not enough worms being shipped as Compost mentions). He also runs a number of different web sites that all ship from the same place.

Thank you, everybody! I think I'll steer away from Uncle Jim's, since there do seem to be issues, though I'm glad some had good luck with it. I'm checking out all the rest that you mention and appreciate the leads. :)

I just got an order of 5000 worms from Uncle Jim's - I did not count them, but the worms and dry peat moss were over 8lbs. Worms were in nice shape. There was no shipping charges which saved me nearly $11.00.
