Prune new Honeysuckle?

18 years ago

Last spring I planted a honeysuckle vine. It is still pretty small (about a foot tall, about 15 branches). I was wondering if I need to prune it this year or if I should wait a couple years till it has grown more. It will be growing in a small backyard up a foot wide, 6 foot tall trellis so I don't want it to get to big.
