Try posting to Craigslist. Charlotte and other NC locales have sections. "www.craigslsit.org" is the general site. Or try http://charlotte.craigslist.org/ which is specific to Charlotte.
There's a section called trade-barter. Because people like us, wormy people, are all about making the planet better, just ask for some worms. We all have more than enough. I can easily give up some, but I'm in Oakland, CA, and Ms. Slocum, looks like, is in the great NW.

Just offer something you can trade and wait for a bit.
