Full sun for most of the day, starting first thing in the morning. Hot and dry, close to house, next to the blacktop driveway. The brick face area for it to grow up is roughly 4'W X 6'T. I'd prefer something with quite an impact, rather than something subtle, either nicely variegated or with bold flowers, or both. I have considered campsis and wisteria, but I'm thinking that keeping them confined to such a small wall would really reduce the impact of such impressive vines. Any suggestions other than honeysuckles (can't stand them)? Thanks.
