Verigated Porcelain Vine

I purchased and planted 3 of these babies to cover up a rusty chain link fence that runs along my culdesac, right next to my lot. It's village property, and they do nothing to keep it up. On the other side of the same fence are some old woody shrubs that are about 10 ft tall, and were planted as a hedge 20-30 years ago, but some have died, and there sre gaps. It's pretty cruddy looking. SO....That's why I plantd these, having no idea they could be a problem. I'm wondering if I can keep them there, cuz they won't run into anyone else's yard, but will they choke out the 10 ft shrubs on the other side of the fence? I realize now I planted them way too close to my property, but I thought of transplanting them all the way at the other end, which is at least 60-100 ft away.

Funny thing is...my sister, the landscape designer/master gardener recommended this to me. Her other landscape friend has it and 'Loves' it she claims. Why don't people in the business know this is so invasive? I wish I would have read about it before I blew $45 on it!

Is there anyone else out there who just loves it and doesn't have a major problem?
