last summer we moved into this house and my kids were digging up tons of earth worm in our gully underneath the fallen leaves. I'm interested in maybe starting a rubbermaid worm bin, what a great way to get rid of kitchen waste and a great experiment for my kids. So can we just use the earthworms?

I have some compost that is ready, basically I put it in the bottom of a tub, with shredded paper and kitchen waste & add the worms??
