You can put them in, but the cobs and husks will take a long time to break down. They might be better in the regular pile, unless you have a way to grind them up.

The cobs can be 'carriers' for pumpkin or mashed potatoes. Slather puree over the cob and half bury in bedding.

The cobs left over from corn on the cob seems to be where worms like to put cocoons in my bin. They take a long time to break down, but I like to have one or two in where I can check on them to peek and see baby worms.
But if you aren't weird like me, you can put them in the regular pile to get them out of the way.

Tons of Butter and Salt make mine candidates for the outdoor compost pile. Better yet the bottom layer of a lasagna garden. An indian corn decoration might in the darth of winter be welcome in the bin. After the second time through the bin the cob maybe needs to go in the outside compost. Either that or will it to my children. The worms and baby worms enjoy the cobs with a bit of the good stuff still on greatly.

I put sweetcorn cobs and silks in my worm bin last aug processed the bin two weeks ago the cobs were still there but easly broken up and filled with baby worms.(will put cobs in my bins from here on out).
