I first bought "super reds" worms from UncleJims (main response on google search) I got your basic "bedrun" variety, which means to me that you get basically any/every size worm.

Later, bored with their poor performance (250 bedrun Eisina Hortensis worms[1/4 lb? 1/2 lb? not sure]) in my 18 gallon stackable bin system. After a month, I had very little castings, and seemingly very few worms (many escaped, and died on my basement floor, due to my fresh, un-aged bin) I ordered a whopping 5 lbs from a petsupply in Carolina,(Great price, by the way). All of the new worms are the large "baitsize" variety.

Wow, things have changed! I caught my first "couple" getting it on. I found my first Cocoon, and there are castings everywhere. This is after only TWO days!

Upon their arrival, I set up a second 18 gallon bin, and basically halved the original(bin and worms), then added new material to both bins. I divided the new worms into each system also.
