Vigna Caracalla Corkscrew Vine?

This website describes this as hardy in zone 8b. How hardy has this proven to be when mulched and grown in the ground?

Also, can the blooms be used in a cut flower arrangement?

It has proven to NOT be hardy in my zone 8b yard - I lost mine 2 winters ago, so now that I traded for a new plant, it will go in the greenhouse when temps drop to 40!

ON the other hand, I've been corresponding with someone who lives in PA and has this plant coming back up! She did have it in a narrow bed edged in brick, against a brick wall, which I'm sure helped.

It returned for me ONE year in 8a.
