I have a deck with a patio underneath it. There is a roof between the deck and the patio so the patio is relatively dry. What I would really like to do is plant a vine next to each of the corner post and have it grow and attach to the joist under the deck to form a living roof. Preferably it would be evergreen, but not a requirement. Of course since it is under the deck it would need to thrive in full shade. Does any vine like this exist?
