I've been picking Toms now since the 2nd week of May. I've notice a drastic improvement in flavor since ammending my beds with compost. I've had one casualty to disease, nothing really to complain about....Except some of my fruits don't seem to growing as large as they should before they ripen. So far, I've gotten rather smalll fruit from Hillbilly, Cherokee Chocolate, "San Marzano Lampadino", Nyagous, and Ark. Traveler.
I'm really confused here because my Bull's Heart, Golden Ponderosa and Jaune Flamme' are incredible and still setting fruit in the heat.
What causes this? A nutritional deficiency, or possibly nutritional excess? I'm confused and I'd love some feedback.
