Junk mail includes a wide variety of paper. Just avoid the slick, hard finished stuff. I use just the normal pulp newsprint, black and white or colored. Some people use the office stationary or computer paper. I guess this is okay but I avoid it due to its slight sheen and hard finish. I'm not sure about crayon but I think its a type of wax and is probably okay.
