On the main Garden Web page, on the left towards the bottom, is a link that says zone buddies. Click that, and you can search for fellow gardenweb members by zone or even zip code.

Thank you for that tip. I haven't been to that main page in yrs. Wonder why they put it there? Oh well.

While that search thing is nice it could bring you up for a zone 5 search (nowhere near my state) but doesn't really mean that you are Vermiposting either?

I know lots of people who have never filled out their zone or did so incorrectly. I didn't even know they asked for zip code so wonder just how many didn't do that either.

But none of that is your fault. I do thank you for the tip.

hi there...
dunno what part of CT you are in, but if u are in the tip connected to new york city and ever come to manhattan, the lower east side ecology center is awesome and cheap for worms. you can actually even get a subsidized bin for 10 bucks (bin+1lb worms) if you sign up for one of their workshops. or you can just preorder worms and pick up at the farmer's market in union square...i love these guys! i bring them my extra veggie scraps when the freezer overflows. they collect from ppl all over the city!

I should have mentioned that I am between Waterbury & New Haven but thanks for that info.
