Absolutely. I put coffee grounds all over my gardens and lawn. The amount of worms that surface after a rain is just amazing. It looks like a made up sceen. Lately I've even been taking left over brewed coffee and spraying it on slugs. It's very theraputic.

I'm thinking I would hit the local coffee shops when the time comes: this fall and again in the spring. I imagine I could use a large amount of grounds. What would be a good amount for a garden roughly 20'x30' if i were to till it in to a depth of 8" or so? Should I lay down newspapers again in the fall for the winter, or is that ot necessary?
