When I opened my bin today and moved the bedding to check on the last food I added, I noticed what looked like steam rising up.

I checked all over but it was cold, I even squeezed any food i found and it was cold as well.

I decided to turn the bedding in the other areas to aerate it and it "steam" kept happening yet there was no heat at all.The bin temp is normal too.

Could it have been airborne mold off food or bedding and i disturbed it or maybe its too dry (feels damp though) or ?????.

Its weird but otherwise everything is going great and lots of cocoons.

Anyone ever have this happen?
