Well obviously your bin has been massively infested with the top dwelling red/brown color phase of oblongitoids. Get rid of them fast before they escape to eat the garage and invade your nightmares.

Your description leads me to millipede but I doubt that is it. Common creatures in worm bins are spring tails and mites. And potworms but aren't they usually white? Maybe not.

Over the years I've had lots of different critters calling my worm bins home and they've never caused any problems for the worms. I know some can but for me most just seem to be cohabitating with the worms so I just ignore them. Gnats and other flying critters are annoying when I open it and they swarm my face but creepy crawlies never seem to really leave the bins even when they have to be moved inside during cold times.
