I recently cleaned out my worm bin and added coconut coir instead of shredded paper for bedding because I didn't like how mushy the paper got and my worms didn't do that well. For those of you that use coir, how do you tell when it is time to add new bedding? With shredded paper it was always obvious, but I wonder how I will know with the coir.
