Be prepared for it to climb more than your concrete wall. ;) Someone in my neighborhood planted it, and now it's trying to climb my concrete wall, the other neighbor's wall, her chainlink fence, our pine tree, another neighbor's oak tree....

My problem is different. My Virginia Creeper will NOT attach itself to a brick chimney. I had one there before with no problems (I forget what killed that one) but although the new vine is growing like wildfire it will not grab on to the bricks. All the little attachments are there but they're not latching on. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Duct tape it to the chimney till it gets the idea. :) arum
