Vermicomposting

I used to do quite a bit of composting but where we now live I need a smaller composter. I have not been able to find anything. It seems to me that years ago I read about apartment dwellers being able to compost in a smaller container. I believe that a special type of worm was used to digest the material into compost. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You can make or buy a worm bin that would be just the right size for your needs and can be kept inside or on a patio of an apartment. :)

I'm an apartment dweller too and have had a worm bin for the past year. If you have room for a rubber maid storage bin that's all you need.
