Me, too, but it sounds like your worms did a bit better than mine did.

We went on a 2 week vacation and came home to a slightly smaller worm population than when we left. They're back in overdrive now (yeah). I was so nervous that they would all be dead when we came back.

Ours might have faired worse except that for the first half of our vacation there was lots of rain. There happens to be a leak in the roof over our worm bin so when there is rain there is some moisture being added. Otherwise the contents of our bin might have been akin to a 2' by 2' by 18inch paper mashae block. If we go away again for a long period I might have to run a drip line to them from the irrigation system to make sure at least one corner of the bin stays moist.
