When my worms decided I was running a nunnery I fired them and hired new ones. So far I do not think this bunch have turned on me... yet.

One thing I have noticed so far is the reproduction seems to come in cycles. I was wondering too if you could describe your worm farm design. What's the bin temperature? (not the room temp.) Buy an oven thermometer (round dial with a long stem) that you insert in your bin to know the temps. 60 - 80F (approx). Dig down to the bottom (where it should be the wettest and where the worms usually and happily spend most of their time (makin' whoopee)), oftentimes you'll find Cocoons down there. Also, how much airflow do they have available? The more the better.
Lastly, being in an 80 degree room in the Winter sounds great, but in the Summer?
