lindago1 - It is possible that you are able to view your own photo in your 1st post because it may require you to be signed into your own private account...

The 2nd photo shows an Ipomoea purpurea that looks like a Grandpa Ott based upon the basic background color and the color of the fuchsia rays along the primary folds...

You are probably right about the picture and the GrandPa Otts. It is just so blue and the GPO that I have seen are more purple.
I had about decided maybe my picture was too large and GW blocked the post for that reason. I don't know if they do that or not.

Ipomoea indica is usually very clonal and therefore produces few if any seeds...

Do you see any seedpods on your plant (?)...

I would be interested to trade if your plant produces seeds...

Ron, I get from 1 to 3 seeds out of each pod, and until the vine was really huge it was hard to find seed pods. I'm always amazed that there aren't more pods considering the volume of flowers. I would be happy to send you some seeds, email me your address.

Ron, I didn't realize until you said it was clonal why I couldn't find more pods. It has become part of my day to spend 10 minutes on a pod search. I usually find 1-2 pods each time. I already sent Aker ( other Susan, lol) my info for an exchange and will send you if you have another MG to share. I am presently growing Kniola Black ( only had a few seeds from a swap) and am interested in heavenly blue and other colors, as well as moonflowers. If you don't have any to share I will still be happy to send them to you.
