chuckiebtoo...Any time there is a big storm the birds do go hide. Before it snows here the birds go into a frenzy eating. They are better for predicting bad weather than many of the meteorologists.

The aliens, I've discovered, have the ability to pose as any number of creatures...none of whom are anywhere near my yard at this time. If "they" have evacuated with the earthly anima, that would suggest they have exerienced WEATHER before, hence winds, and oxygen, and, in this case, long fuel lines and traffic jams on their own world...or others, if they're nomadic by nature, which they must be, being aliens.

Incidently, I'm beginning to believe they, themselves, are capable, and guilty, of earthling-like traits like jealousy, and revenge, and practical jokes. Why, you ask?
Let me explain before you dismiss my observations as those of someone who's watched too much hurricane coverage for the past three weeks.

Using some weird form of ESP, or thought interception, they know my favorite personal critters, excepting my worms, are geckos, of which my yard once teemed...until they caused them to flee in terror after seeing W, a small albino gecko I had named W because he couldn't pronounce "nucler" either. W had been hung by his thumbs on my bathroom window screen (where he always hung out) with a little tie-dyed sign around his neck written in a coded, musical language I recognized from the rock opera Tommy from back in my experimentally curious days.

Of course, they had to have intercepted those memories from me since I hadn't told them anything. I've since learned a little about it, I guess, albeit not enough to comprehend the process. As Kelly would say, not enough viable scientific data is available to justify a nomination for the Noble Peace Prize, or something like that.

But Kelly would look at the entire sequence of occurrences with a scientific perspective and a twinkle in her eyes, I'm sure.
