R they really salamanders? Or R they moles? If they R moles, U probably have no worms left, and the moles R probably really fat & smiling a lot.

U probably need to think about making ur worm bin more of a prison so things that eat ur worms won't.

You might have skinks. They look something like salamanders, and do eat some worms in my area. I've had them hang around my greenhouse worm bins, seemingly unafraid that I would do anything to them. I suspect that they spend some of their time in the moist environs of the bins, having snacks on both the worms and the waste materials. They act very friendly sometimes, and I think they could be easy to tame, if desired; I've not had the urge to tame them. The link has more info, and even comments on their tame nature. Bottom line is that I have not seen significant damage from them, and they seem fairly harmless. They may even eat some non-desirable critters like flys.

Lizards (skinks) or salamanders, or even moles (spotted moles???), all eat worms - with enthusiasm.
