We went over to a friends for a wine tasting last night, and last time a guy had asked me for a few herbs. I completely took him seriously and planted him a window herb garden. I had a small instruction list, some cilantro seeds (couldnt remember if he liked it, and it grows quick), and a small bag of worm castings.

I warned him there might be a few maggots in it, but they wouldnt eat much ;-) He was impressed, not scared of bugs, and tickled.

He brought chocolate fondue to the party, and I caught him just as he was finishing preparing the fruit! noooo! that could have gone back to my woooorms!

do you ever find yourself wanting to be compensated in trash or manure? its strange how that keeps coming up ;-)
