Well I admittedly neglected (for the most part) my worms for a few weeks due to a vacation and then being away for a death in the family, and despite feeding them a decent amount of with frozen (and thawed, obviously) melon scraps, coffee grounds, and worm chow when I came back, my thriving colony has all but (maybe?) dried up and disappeared. I'm afraid I allowed the bin to get too dry in my absence, and while getting ready to feed them a few minutes ago I found a few, rather small specimens, my rather hearty conglomerate of Europeans was nowhere to bee seen (including on the floor around the bin).

I gave it a thorough watering with the can and am hoping for the best with cocoons. Any suggestions?
