I have two alba bower vines I would like to grow on two stucco posts on my patio. I was hoping to use vine wire around the posts so I could wind the vines around the posts. Would that be ok or do I need a stronger structure? I'm in Las Vegas and the vines will be planted in the ground. I'm hoping once they grow up the posts they can wind through a railing on the balcony above the patio. Any advice would be appreciated!
