Hello, I have two worm bins, one wood 2X2X4 feet and a plastic worm bin 2X3X2 feet. I they are both about 8 inches deep and you cannot tell what is. I mean it is composted castings. I feed them and they are thriving and been doing great for about 6 months now. Can I just keep adding food, burying it and continue until the bins are full and then seperate the worms. Or should I at some point take half out and start the other side with card board and paper and leaves again and do it that way. I would like to leave it alone until spring time but was just wondering if I can keep the layers going with out any harm to the lower levels? I plan to use a shovel full with each tamoatoe plant next year. Thanks Bill C
