I see they have ENC not ANC. Did you purchase from them? I seen you were looking to buy Reds In a diff post. i am calling them now. It doesn't give an option to make a purchase Online. How much was shipping, do you know?

IMHO, when just starting out, it is best to buy a pound or two of worms, tend to them the way it should be done, observe what's going on, tweak things when you should, watch the expansion of the herd, and then.....go crazy.

If a whole bunch of worms are purchased and put out into the "wild", results will be extremely tough....OK, impossible...to ascertain.

I'm not buying any worms until March. I am just starting myself.
My friend was looking for a small qty. To do a"test" to see if this is something she wanted to commit to. She seen my red wigglers and wants to try it herself. I only have about 100 worms at the most. She wanted some ANC or ENC.

Thanks for the link CharlieBoring. I have also been thinking about getting some ANC or ENC. I heard that they are great for fishing as well as composting. Is this true?
