Early this year, a nurse from Vancouver, BC took a lb. of worms with her when she got stationed to the Arctic Circle. The last I heard from her, she and the worms are doing well.

Yes on youtube I have seen this one and others from india and others. Im sure many other countries were doing in out of necessity before it ever really became popular in the USA.

I would like to know more detailed info what exactly other countries feed their worms , Im betting its nothing like what most here use other than manure.

It's gaining popularity here in France too. Most large garden stores sell stackable worm bins, and it's very easy to find the worms themselves.

It's definitely catching on in Mexico. I had several conversations about worms when I was there recently. One with the guy we rented horses from one day (I'm sure he has plenty of manure) and another with a university student studying agriculture. iArriba las lombices!
