castings exposed to weather

I'm generating pretty large quantities of castings in an outdoor open "bin" (top fed rows in my garden between paths). They seem to stay reasonably stable (looks-wise)under the leaves there even after repeated rains. Should I worry about their nutrient levels, or will they remain fairly stable?

I'd doubt they're microbially "stable", which is the most important aspect .... they're contributing to the living soil

I guess that I mean are they going to be about as good in the mid spring when I harvest them if they're covered or not covered? (uncovered meaning- covered in lots of leaves, but exposed to rain).

Just curious sqeeze, why would you "[d]oubt they're microbially "stable"?

Shouldn't most of the microbes be spore formers and quite stable?
