Tomatoes Wilting,

Thought I would cross post this here as well as the hydroponic forum. Over the last 2 days 3 of my tomato plants have suddenly started wilting from the tops down, I ripped 2 of them out as I was thinking something serious, the other one started wilting today.

My tomatoes are grown in deep water culture systems (90 litre containesr with airstones and nutrient sollution - 3 plants per container, no problems in the past) , now after noticing that a few of the unripe tomatoes had what I presume is blossom end rot I decided to check the pH level of my solution and found that it was a 3.2.

Now I am thinking that this low pH may have cause nutrient lockout. Anyone know if this could be the case? I also took a cutting of a wilted sucker and it perked up in a couple of hours, would this be the case with one of the wilt diseases?
