I'm sorry to say it but a "wild violet" won't be helpful: what kind of violet ?
Nothing special to say about growing violet's seeds, it's like any perennial plant most of the time. A cold period is needed to make them germinate :-)
If you're talking about sororia's seeds, you'll have to wait until spring to see them growing.
