I love the color of the paint used on the staircase . Is this paint considered to be for use on floor space?

I see that the paint is semi-gloss. Will this hold up with all the foot traffic? I thought there was a differnt type of paint that you use if it is going to be on a floor with foot traffic.

    Just to clarify, the railings are painted by the stair treads are NOT. They are alkaline dyed and stained in the traditional fashion. I don't think I would paint stairs unless you want a worn look

      I did my stairs with a Benjamin Moore paint with a pearl finish and I love it.
